All grown up now...?

College girl..

hiii bloggers, like I said in my previous post August is my favorite time of the year. 1. because it's my birthday 2. it's partially summer 3. it's also back to school. I turned 18 on Monday August 12th, and I started college the following week! This year I am attending Dixie State University, right here in my home town. Dixie wasn't my first choice for college, but i have a long time of school ahead of me. I plan on majoring in Pre Med with my Bachelors degree and then continuing on to medical school. I am hoping to only stay at Dixie for a year or two, then I would like to transfer to the University of Utah because they have a great medical program. (i also need to get out of st. George)

To be honest I didn't think i was going to get much of an experience or variety of people at Dixie. But I'm glad i was mistaken. They are so many guys from out of state it's crazy! I would have never guessed that our small town was really home to so many athletes, and people of culture. It's actually really refreshing. I've met/seen so many beautiful guys and it's only my first week! I cannot wait to see what this year brings! I have been so excited for this, in the past weeks to come and i can honestly say i LOVE college. It's a lot different from high school. There is no social scene, you spend most of you're day completely on you're own, no one cares about you, and you don't care about anyone. You're in you're own world and you are there 100% for yourself.

I have challenged myself by taking on quite the heavy college load. It's my first semester and I am taking a total of 17 credits.
-math
-history
-communications
-science
-lib
-English
I've never done better in school then i am doing right now. I don't procrastinate my homework. I do it as soon as the class is over and in between classes. I am actually doing well in math (a first) it just feels good. I don't feel like i am in school, which is really nice. My favorite part of college is the library. You can always count on there being at least 10 good looking guys in there doing homework, while you're doing homework. It's nice....if you know what I mean ;)

I am super excited for the first college party tomorrow night, and even more excited for football season. I know that at a school like Dixie the only way for me to have the time of my life, is for me to get involved. So I plan on attending every stupid, over the top, exciting event there is. Anyways my first week of college was a huge success. I'm looking forward to doing well in school, meeting new people, and making the most of every situation.

First day of college with Shai :) we joined the storm
